Why I ask for tips
Hi, I'm Michael. Thank you for being here. I run NoteMods on my own. I started it on 10 October 2026. Since then I have published 105 guides, 2 reference pages and pages for 116 plugins, with test results for 18 of them.
What it costs
| Item | Cost per year |
|---|---|
| Domain notemods.com | about $11 (Porkbun list renewal price for .com, rounded) |
| Hosting on Cloudflare Pages | $0 (free plan) |
| Writing, testing and fixing the guides | My own hours |
What tips pay for
- The domain renewal first: $5 covers about five months of it.
- Time to write new guides.
- New test runs of the plugin checks.
A tip changes nothing on the site
Everyone gets the same guides, with or without a tip, and they stay free for everyone.
A tip is not Pro
Pro features in the plugins come from a GitHub Sponsors tier. The Pro page explains it. A coffee tip doesn't turn on Pro. Sponsoring on GitHub at $5 a month or $15 one time does, after you sign in from the plugin settings.
How to tip
Pick an amount on PayPal, or use Buy Me a Coffee to pay by card.
Prefer monthly? On Buy Me a Coffee you can tick 'Make this monthly'. You can cancel at any time.
PayPal shows my legal name, Michał Lip.
A coffee tip is a tip, not a purchase. You get nothing extra, and you owe nothing. The site stays free either way.
The use count on this site stays in your browser. I never see it.
Thank you for reading this far.
